Lula Mae “Macie” Abrams was born on January 1, 1947 in Thomasville, GA to parents James Castleberry and Annie Mae (Holloway) Castleberry. Macie left this Earth for her heavenly home on October 7, 2022 at the age of 75. Macie is preceded in death by her parents James Castleberry and Annie Mae (Holloway) Castleberry; husband, David Russell Robinson; brother, James Gunn; sisters Bernice Summerlin and Helen Castleberry. She is survived by her daughters, DeDe Woodside and husband Dennis, Patricia Gunter and husband Loyd Segrest; siblings Dorothy Ramsdell, Louise McConnell, Allen Castleberry and wife Ernestine, Glenda Creech and husband Floyd. She was “Nanny” to 6 grandkids and 12 great grandkids - grandchildren, Beau Gatewood and wife Amanda, Cody Gatewood and wife Michelle, Candice Shetsky and husband Chad, Preston Julian and wife Danais, Ryan Woodside, Megan Woodside and fiance Micah Joucken; great grandchildren, Elisabeth Gatewood, Blake Gatewood, Tanner Gatewood, Madelynn Gatewood, Alley Gatewood, Ashton Gatewood, Derek Shetsky, Jax Julian, Dash Julian, Ethan Gonzalez, Emeri Gonzalez and Evan Gonzalez. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 14, 2022 at 9:00am and Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel in Cleveland, Texas. A memorial service will follow at 11:00am and interment will be at Brookside Cemetery at 1:00pm.
