Lula Mae Jordan

Lula Mae Jordan, age 100 of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2016. She was born October 7, 1915 in Evergreen, Texas to parents Parker Custard and Estella Smith who preceded her in death along with Alvin Garrett Jordan, Emma McGowan, Rosie Jackson, Agnes Denson, Annie Charles and Frances Robertson.

Survivors include her god daughters, Barbara Godfrey LeBlanc and Carlene Beasley Shine; son, Jackie Ray Ross; god grandchildren, Tieshia Godfrey, Rayford Ellis, Jr. and Tanetta Godfrey; god great-grandchildren, Mikah Eleby, Akeem Weathersby, Shyia Godfrey, Hallie Berry and Jamie Berry; host of nieces and nephews: Robertson-Williams-Duncan-Grover-Gray-Gilford.

Visitation is from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Bethel Baptist Church, Cleveland, Texas. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Bethel Baptist Church, Cleveland, Texas. Interment will follow at Sandfield Cemetery, Evergreen, Texas.
