Lucille Irene Jackson

Lucille Irene Franta Jackson, 87, of Baytown, passed away Sunday, June 12, 2016, at the Green Acres Nursing Home in Baytown.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Thursday, June 16, 2016, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Palms Memorial Park Cemetery in Dayton. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Thursday, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.

Lucille was born September 20, 1928, in Crosby, to parents; Charlie and Sodonia Marek Franta, and has been a lifelong resident of Baytown. She was a homemaker and enjoyed working puzzles, cooking, baking, and reading.

Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Milton Jackson, sons: Robert Ryan and Leonard Jackson and wife Gloria, daughter: Lois Porter, brother: Larry, sisters: Linda and Lillian, grandson: Quinton Porter. She is survived by her son: David Jackson and wife Pat of Nevada, daughters: Norma Meadows and husband Kenneth of Dayton and Debra Mireles of Baytown, brothers: Charlie Franta, Jr. of Crosby, Lonnie Franta of Baytown, and Lee Allan Franta of Crosby, sisters: Lorine Trahan of Baytown, Laverne Trahan of Baytown, and Lulu May Leonard of Baytown, seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
