Louis Royal Schamerhorn

Louis Royal Schamerhorn, age 70 of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2016. He was born October 15, 1945 in Raymondsville, Texas to parents Louis and Mildred Schamerhorn who he is preceded in death by.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Charlotte Ann Schamerhorn; daughter, Christina King and husband Duane; son, Aaron Schamerhorn and wife Virginia; sister, Carolyn Wells and husband David; brother, David Schamerhorn and wife Ricca; grandchildren, Dylan Schamerhorn, Lathon King and Kane King; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and family.

Mr. Schamerhorn loved to collect things and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Thursday, September 29, 2016 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 30, 2016 at Calvary Baptist Church, Cleveland, Texas. Interment will follow at Pace Stancil Memorial Rest Gardens, Cleveland, Texas.
