Louis Lynn Armstrong

Louis Lynn Armstrong, 61, of Dayton died Sunday, March 12, 2017 in Baytown, Texas.

Visitation for Mr. Armstrong will be 12 to 2 before the service. Memorial service for Louis will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home with services concluding therafter.

Louis was born June 23, 1955 in Newton, Texas to parents John Louis Armstrong and Edith Elizabeth Medley Armstrong. A longtime resident of Dayton, he enjoyed fishing, motorcycles, flirting, and Budweiser. He never met a stranger and was always helping others.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, John Dewayne Armstrong and Horace Thomas Armstrong and sister, Mary Alva Banks Armstrong. He is survived by his wife Peggy Daley-Armstrong of Dayton; sons, Johnny Lynn Armstrong and wife Randi of Dayton, Louis Lynn Armstrong, Jr. and wife Kristan of Wallisville; daughter, Jennifer Lynn Armstrong and Chris Sanders of Dayton; step-son, Dalton Lawrence of Dayton; step-daughter, Tabitha Plummer and Robert Harris of Dayton; sisters, Betty Armstrong-Swenson and Dan of Idaho and Nancy Loraine Armstrong-Burney of Rye; grandchildren, Hannah, Kyler, Kaylei, Brayden, Davran, Jadalyn, Jocelyn, Savannah, Hailey, Conner, Emma, Seth, Savannah, Shelby and Tommy, Jr.; nieces and nephews, Melissa, Benjamin, John Douglas, Tonya, Katrina, Jason and Jennifer; also numerous other relatives and friends.
