Lou Ella Byrum Cupples, 77, of Dayton, passed away Saturday, July 8, 2017, at the Liberty-Dayton Community Hospital.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Thursday, at the funeral home. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 13, 2017, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel in Dayton with services concluding thereafter.
Lou was born November 29, 1939 in Jackson, Tennessee, to parents; William C. and Elizabeth Timms Byrum, a former resident of Baytown, and has resided in Dayton for the past 27 years. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and watching her soap operas.
Mrs. Cupples was preceded in death by her parents, sister: Barbara Byrum, and brother: William Curtis Byrum, Jr. She is survived by her husband of 45 years: Donald Cupples, Sr. of Dayton, son: Curtis Cupples and wife Crystal of Dayton, daughter: Robbie Lynn Byrum of Tennessee, stepsons: Donald Cupples, Jr. and wife Lisa of Tennessee and Dennis Cupples of Tennessee, stepdaughter: Venessa Cupples of Tennessee, brothers: Sonny Byrum of Tennessee and Jerry Glen Byrum and wife Linda of Tennessee, sister: Linda Alexander and husband Gary of Tennessee, grandchildren: Dylon, April, Chase, Kayla, and Faith Cupples, great-grandchildren: Daisy, Brooklyn, and Christian Cupples, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
