Lorna L Williams

Lorna Langford Carlton Williams, 88, of Dayton, went to be with the Lord Sunday, September 27, 2015, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 2, 2015, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Ryan Cemetery in Tarkington Prairie. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Friday, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton. Bishop Ken Smith of Faith Tabernacle will be officiating. Lorna was born July 11, 1927 in Fort Worth, to parents: E.H. Carlton and Lorna Langford. She was a former resident of La Porte and has resided in Dayton for the past 17 years. She attended Brownsville High School. She was a homemaker, and was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed spending time with her family, family and friends party time at Flashback Cafe, movies, reading and collecting clocks. Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by: her father, E.H. Carlton; mother, Lorna Langford; husband, O.D. Williams; daughter, Donna Loy; and grandchildren Kristine Allen and Waymon Allen. She is survived by her: son, Michael Williams and wife Gloria; daughters, Susan Wheeler of Pasadena and Nancy McArdle of La Porte; grandchildren, Bonnie Perry and husband Chris, Sherry Novosad and husband Ted, Michael Wheeler and husband David, Cassandra Brown and husband Dwayne, Colleen Williams, Eric Harker, Katie Loy, Tristan Anderson and wife Mariah, Lisa Henrici and husband John and Timothy Reed and wife Stephanie; great-grandchildren, Michelle, Christopher, Ryan, Garrett, Dana, Opal, Ruby, Lindsey and husband Heath, Ashley and husband Rodney and Haylee; great-great-grandchildren; Mazzy, Hanna, Willow, Lily, Leighton and Tristan and numerous other relatives and friends. Pall bearers are: Ted Novosad, Dick Dousay, Tim Reed, Ryan Thompson, Michael Wheeler, Chris Novosad and Heath Bridges.
