Lorenza Anna Smith

Lorenza "Lorene" Anna Smith, age 86 and a resident of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2013 in Shepherd, Texas. She was born in Somerset, Texas in 1926 to parents Joe and Augustina Tenorio who preceded her in death along with her husband George C. Smith Jr.; twin sons; grandchildren Maurice Morgan and Donna Majors; great-grandchild John Swearingen. Survivors include her daughters Dora Morgan and husband Joe, Mary Mize and husband Lee Roy, Linda Majors and husband Lonnie, Virginia Whitehead, Dorothy Grogan and husband Tommy, Kathy Hash and husband Stanley; sons George Alec Smith and Clinton Allen Smith and wife Nona; brothers Silver Tenorio, Jessie Tenorio and wife Tootsie, Lorenzo Tenorio and wife Alfa; twenty-five grandchildren; sixty great-grandchildren; fifteen great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and other cherished family members and faithful friends. Visitation will be held Friday, April 12, 2013, 5:00-9:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Bro. Troy Moore will preside over funeral services being held Saturday, April 13, 2013, 3:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Chapel with interment following at Pace-Stancil Memorial Rest Gardens. Pallbearers include Rodney Smith, Lorenzo Morgan, Lonnie Majors Jr., Stanley Hash, Alonzo Majors, and Clinton Smith; honorary pallbearers Tommy Grogan and Theadore Morgan. Dinner will be provided after the service at North Cleveland Baptist Church.
