Loren Jacobs

Loren Arthur Jacobs, 84, of Dayton passed away on October 1, 2022. Loren was born December 3, 1937 in Flint, Michigan to Ancil Jacobs and Sarah Catherine Reimel Jacobs.

Loren graduated from high school in Durand, Michigan in 1955 and earned his Associates Degree from Flint Junior Business College. He was a resident of Dayton for the past ten years and lived in Morgan City, Louisiana prior to moving to Dayton. Loren was an owner-operator of a floor care company and most recently was actively working at HEB in Atascocita. He was a life-time member of the American Legion Post, most recently in Morgan City, Louisiana.

Loren was preceded in death by his wife, Monda Kay Kibridge Jacobs; his parents; his brother Everett Jacobs, and his sister, Judy McKay.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his son, Frank Jacobs and wife Margo; his daughters, Lori Cyr and husband Richard, Amy Jacobs Roddy; his sister, June MacBride and husband Robert; grandchildren, Morgan Cyr, Bailey Cyr, Felicity Jacobs, Madilyn Jacobs, Grant Jacobs, Lindsay Kirchinger and husband Eric, Joshua Roddy and wife Lauren, Jacob Roddy and wife Hallie; great grandchildren, Victor Kirchinger, Caroline Roddy; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
