Lora Frances Cook

Lora Frances Cook, age 79, of The Woodlands, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, April 24, 2014. She was born July 4, 1934, in Waco, Texas, to parents W. Lee and Bernice Estelle Shaw Carolan who preceded her in death; brother, William Lee “Billy” Carolan. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 28, 2014, 2:00 p.m. with visitation prior to service, at First Baptist Church Coldspring, Texas. Dr. Don Shannon will be officiating. Survivors include her husband of 59 years , Sherman Charles Cook; daughter, Sherry Lynne Gholston and husband Ron; grandchildren, Matthew Ballard and wife, Devan, Mitchel Wilhite and Micaleh Wilhite and Fiance Brandon Lantrip; great-grandchildren, Brayden Ballard and Brailey Ballard; as well as many other cherished friends.
