Lois Murry

Lois Olene Murry, age 83, of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Thursday, December 18, 2010. She was born August 22, 1927 in Rosebud, Texas to Jess Monroe and Ida Lee McKinzie who preceded her in death along with her loving husband, Hubert Murry. Survivors include her daughters, Patricia Hunt and husband, Melvin, Brenda Powers and Erik Larson; sons, James “Bubba” Murry and wife, Theresa, Billy Murry and wife, Peggy, Donnie Murry and wife, Carol; sister, Sue Bartee Diehl; brothers, Vernon McKinzie and wife, Winnie, D.A. McKinzie; grandchildren, Trey Hunt and wife, Brandy, Scott Hunt, Kellie Keller and husband, Karl, Jennifer Gonzales and husband, Charles, Brian Murry, Chris Murry, James Murry, Donnie Freichs and husband, Fred, Alica Whitaker, Michael Powers and wife, Christy, Kimberly Powers; great-grandchildren, Ally Hunt, Karson and Maddison Keller, Mia, Marin, Matthew and Madaline Gonzales, Marlena and Cody MurryVickilyn Murry, Brittany Murry, James Whitaker, J.T., Joshua and Taylor Powers, Kara Vargas; many other cherished family members and treasured friends throughout the years. Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 21, 2010, 5:00-9:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Bro. Carl Williamson will preside over funeral services being held Wednesday, December 22, 2010, 2:00 p.m. at Bear Creek Baptist Church Cleveland, Texas with interment, Bear Creek Cemetery, Cleveland, Texas. Pallbearers include Michael Powers, Scott Hunt, Trey Hunt, Karl Keller, Brian Murry, Chris Murry.
