Lois Gingles Lilley

Services for Lois Gingles Lilley, 85, will be held on Friday, May 30, 2014 in the chapel of Pace Stancil Funeral Home in Cleveland, TX with Dr. Don Shannon officiating and scripture readings by Dalton Currie. Interment will follow in the Magnolia Baptist Cemetery. Lois was born June 27, 1928 in Cleveland, TX to Ruth and Thomas Jefferson Gingles. She was a loving wife to Vernon, and a dedicated mother to their daughters, Peggy and Laura. A member of the Magnolia Baptist Church, Lois enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking for her grandchildren, and always watching a good baseball game. Mrs. Lilley is survived by her husband: Vernon Lilley of Cleveland, TX; daughter, Peggy Lilley Sewell and husband Chip of Coldspring, TX; daughter, Laura Lilley Smith and husband Kerry of Fort Worth, TX; sister, Jean Lycan of Albuquerque, NM; grandchildren, Brian and wife Casey Sewell, Keith Sewell, Kaitlin Smith and Brentley Smith; great-grandchildren, Stan, Carra, and Ava Sewell; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
