Locke Steven Fregia, 61, of Hull, died Tuesday, June 24, 2014, at the Baptist Hospital in Beaumont. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, June 28, 2014, at the Batson Prairie Baptist Church with burial following at Guedry Cemetery in Batson. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, at the church. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton. Locke was born October 25, 1952 in Dayton, to parents; James Edward and Clovis Marie Ray Fregia, and has been a lifelong resident of the Hull area. He was a veteran of the US Army and a truck driver for Curtis and Son Vacuum Service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, horses, and spending time with his children. Mr. Fregia was preceded in death by his father: James Edward Fregia, mother: Clovis Marie Ray Fregia, and nephew: Sorrel Fregia. He is survived by his daughter: Savanna Michelle Fregia of Liberty, son: James Drean Fregia of Groves, step-mother: Mae Fregia of Hull/Batson; sister: Jackie Anderson and husband Jimmie of LaPorte, brother: Eddie Fregia and wife Denni of Hardin, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
