Lloyd Whitmire

Lloyd Daniel Whitmire, age 78 of Shepherd, Texas, passed away Sunday, July 12, 2015. He was born December 20, 1936 in Liberty County, Texas to parents Ezra and Edith Whitmire who preceded him in death along with his sister, Edith Silsbee Whitmire; brothers, Thomas Whitmire and Eugene Whitmre; and great-granddaughter, Tessa Whitmire. Survivors include his wife, Beatrice Whitmire; daughter, Delores Ann Potter; sons, Danny Earl Whitmire and Eddie Lynn Whitmire; sister, Velma Ruth Sweeten; fourteen grandchildren, thirty-eight great-grandchildren, numerous relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Interment will follow at Farley Chapel Cemetery, Shepherd, Texas.
