Loyd Riley Vann, age 82, of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Wednesday, May 5, 2010. He was born in Evergreen, San Jacinto County, Texas on July 15, 1927 to Floyd Riley and Annie Lee Vann who preceded him in death along with his sisters, Bula Hanson and Alice Murray. Survivors include his loving wife, Dorothy Vann; daughter, Norma Wisdom; sons, Randy Vann, Riley Vann; grandchildren, Eric Wisdom, Melissa Horn, Tiffany Nye, Chris Vann, Jonathon Vann, Jennifer Clifton; great-grandchildren, Darby Hare, Colby Horn, Brianne Horn, Tyler Wisdom, Dawson Wisdom, Kirston Goodwin, Gaven Markovich, Trinton Cantrel, Johnny Ray Clifton, Derek Clifton; sisters, Faye Lilley, Mattie Richards; brothers, A.J. Vann, Cleo Vann, Horace Vann; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other cherished family members and treasured friends throughout the years. Visitation will be held Friday, May 7, 2010, 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Bro. Tom Rutledge will preside over funeral services being held Saturday, May 8, 2010, 11:00 a.m. at Pace-Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas with interment immediately following at Magnolia Cemetery. Pallbearers include Eric Wisdom, Carl Vann, Chris Horn, Will Vann, Chris Vann, Jonathan Vann; honorary pallbearers include Allen Vann, Mark Vann, Paul Ray Vann, and Mike Vann.
