Linda Sue Holloway Mcwhorter

Linda Sue Holloway McWhorter, age 64 and a resident of Splendora, Texas, passed away Saturday, July 6, 2013 in Houston, Texas. She was born in Cleveland, Texas on September 16, 1948 to M.C. “Button” Holloway and Melveter Whitton Holloway Sackett who preceded her in death along with her grandmother who raised her Eula Holloway Hood; and her grandson; Zachery Presswood. Linda lived life with a heart full of love; she was a kind and giving person; a tireless mother, grandmother, loving sister, and steadfast friend. She loved the Lord Jesus Christ and her church family. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her. Survivors include her daughter Kriste Leigh Presswood; grandchildren Jonathan Williams Mercer and Hunter Cole Presswood; sisters Ann Dillon and husband Tommy, Rita Long and husband Johnny, Debbie Gibbs and husband Gary, Lois Carlos and husband Richard; brothers Marty Holloway and wife Tracy and Frank Williams; many nieces, nephews and other cherished family members and faithful friends throughout the years. Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 9, 2013, 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Rev. Ronald L. Culberth, Rev. Ronald A. Culberth and Rev. L.E. Williams will preside over funeral services being held Wednesday, July 10, 2013, 10:00 a.m. at Pace Stancil Chapel with interment following at Wells Cemetery, Cleveland, Texas.
