Linda Carol Griffin, age 60, of Cleveland, TX, passed away Sunday, April 24.2011, She was born in Cleveland, TX on December 12, 1950 to Carl Joseph Smith and Geneva Qualla Smith who preceded her in death along with daughter, Leah Michelle Knight, brother, Carl Wayne Smith.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 27,2011 Pace-Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas with interment at Pace Stancil Memorial Rest Garden Cemetery, Cleveland, TX; Rev. James Holt presiding.
Survivors include her loving husband, Earl “Butch” Griffin; children, Terry Glen Knight and wife, Mary, Ernest (Boo) Knight and wife, Robbie, Shane Knight and wife, Tana, Sonya Griffin, Ernest Griffin and wife, Nancy, Sandi Ishee and husband, David; brothers, Sam “Eddie” Smith and wife, Nancy, Charles “Bubba” Smith and wife, Fonda; grandchildren, Callie M, Jaret Trenton, Taylor, Shyann, Blake, Desirae, Aubie, Nichole L., Gracie, Tyler, Chance, Johnny, Corbin, Cole and Logan; great-grandchildren, Gabrial Armstrong and Landen Kelly; nephews, Ken Smith and wife, Tanya, Jason Smith and wife, Robyn, Triston, Charles “Taz”, Jason, Cash, Wayne Smith and wife, Misty, Austin, Wayne, Blair, Gavin, Cody, Aiden; nieces, Rieanna and husband Steven, Savana, Cher, Megan, Morgan, Samatha, Carla, Brandi and a host of friends beyond measure.
