Lincoln Aubrey Wells

April 5, 1921 — July 5, 2016

Lincoln Aubrey Wells went to be with the Lord on July 5, 2016. Born in Cleveland, Texas April 5, 1921. Son of William Pleasant Wells and Julian Belle Blocker. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Ruby Lois Cude; second wife Wilda Brunson; and third wife Sybel Wilson. Brothers; Everett, R.D., Gerald, Roland, Nolan. Sister; Dorothy. Son; Lynn A. Wells.

Lincoln is survived by his daughters; Lois Helen Graves and husband Jerry, Linda Beaty and husband Russell Moses, Rita Kinney. Son; Ronald Wells and wife Kathleen. Brother; Leon Wells and wife Faye. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, many nephews, nieces, and friends.

Lincoln was a veteran of World War II where he served in the Marine Corps. He was in the first Marine Raider Battalion. He served his country honorably. He was a proud Mason in the South Houston Texas Lodge #1295. Lincoln graduated from Coldspring High school in 1939.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 11 A.M. in Cleveland, Texas at Pace Stancil Funeral Home. Acknowledge with thanks and appreciation to the staff of Gentiva Hospice, Trisha Taylor and Priscilla Guidrey.
