It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Lewis. Lewis passed away on April 22, 2018 at home surrounded by his loving family.

Lewis was born September 16, 1958 in Wellington, Kansas to Lewis and Patricia McNett Hubbard. He attended Northbrook High School in Spring Branch, Texas where he studied computers. In 1984 Lewis went on to get his degree as an Electronic Technician.

In February 1992 he met the love of his life Debra. Who he spent the next 26 years loving. Together they had a blended family of three children and three grandchildren.

He loved his job as an Electronic Technician and looked forward to meeting new people. Lewis never met a stranger. He completed his career with Davis an Davis Business Equipment in Houston where he felt like family.

Lewis enjoyed being outside doing yard work, fishing, grilling and spending time with his family. He was a simple man who felt that there was not a stronger love than that of a family.

Lewis is survived by his wife Debra, his daughter Misti Hubbard of Huffman, TX, his two sons Kevin Hubbard of New Orleans, LA, and Josh Walters and wife Courtney Granger of Shepherd, TX. His three grandchildren Kirsten and Bradley Walters of Santa, Fe, TX an Averie Walters of Shepherd, TX. His mother Patricia Orlando of Houston, TX. Sister and brother-in-law Bridgette and Lyn Snowden of Houston, TX. Mother-in-law Kathy Want of Shepherd, TX. Sister-in-law and brother-in-law Sondra and Larry Curry of Goodrich, TX. Brother-in-law Billy Haston of Knob Knobster, MO. As well as many nieces and nephews. His best friend Susan Stampp of Houston, TX.

He was proceeded in death by his son Lewis Eugen Hubbard, III., his father Lewis Eugene Hubbard, Sr., his grandparents Walter and Hazel Ann McNett and Dale and Nina Barker. His brother Wade Rodgers. As well as three great friends Art, Tim and Michelle.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude’s Hospital.
