Lester Ray Burton

Lester Ray Burton was born September 15, 1940 in Cleveland, Texas to parents Lester and Nannie Burton. He passed away on February 10, 2025 at the age of 84.

Lester is preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Nannie Burton; and sister Norine Blum. 

He is survived by his children, Richard Burton and wife Sue, Rhonda Wuerch and husband Myles, Renee Rice and husband Dwayne; brothers Howard Burton and wife Irene, Charles Burton and wife Barbara; grandchildren, Blake Burton, Devon Adams and husband Bo, Winston Rice and wife Kim, Taylor Miller and wife Liz, Whitney Ontiveros and husband Charlie, Jacob Miller, Cole Miller, Winter Rice, Walker Rice, Jessica Morgan and husband Adam; great-grandchildren, Bryce, Avery, Raylee, Emma, Cody, Kimber, Dawson, Cas, Eva Kate, Trigger, Tenley, Bailey, Dennis, Little Charlie, and Cassius

Services for Lester will be held on Saturday, February 15th with visitation from 10am-11am and his funeral begins at 11am with Rev. Malcolm Burton officiating. Burial will follow in Plum Grove Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Blake Burton, Winston Rice, Taylor Miller, Jacob Miller, Cole Miller, Walker Rice, Charlie Ontiveros, Bo Adams, Bryce Burton.
