Lenora Jones

Jones Lenora Davis Jones, 89, of Splendora passed away Friday, July 4, 2014 at home. She was born January 15, 1925 in Paul, Alabama to parents, Frank and Janie Ruth Davis. She had lived in Splendora for the past 11 years after moving from Tomball. She was a CNA nurse for over 50 years and was very active in her church. She was all about being grandmother, loving all her family. Service for Mrs. Jones will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Muck officiating. Graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m., at Earthman Resthaven in Houston. Visitation will be Tuesday 10:00 a.m. until service time at Pace-Stancil. Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William F. Jones, brothers and sisters, Lula Dell & Fletcher Harris, Daisy Bell and Robert Jeter, Mary Mazie and Harvey Gentry, Nannie and Dave Hilburn, George Lee & Kitty Davis. She is survived by her children, Cary and Linda Sherman, Uby Sherman, Frank Sherman, Lula Sherman Russ, Larry Sherman, James Sherman, Nannie P. and Ronald Dean, Sr., Ruby Lee and Larry Dean, and David Smith; grandchildren, Ronald Dean, Jr and DeDe Fountain, Daphne Paxton, Jennifer and Nick Davis, Stephanie and Josh Fulcher, Anita and Aaron Davis, Angela and JR Ungles, Loretta and Brandon Stewart, Staci and Kyle Reed and Ashley and Eliseo Galvan; great-grandchildren, Tagen & Trace Dean, Shelby, Ezekiel, and Sheridan Paxton, Jazzlyn and J.R. Thomas, Peyton Davis, Tinsley Pearl Fulcher, Hayden & Hunter Fountain, Matthew, Gavan, and Arin Davis, Xander and Rody Ungles, Toni and Dani Hagler, Abby and Charlie Stewart, Kayden and Kynnedi Reed, and Elijah Galvan; also numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
