Lenora Helen "Ellie" Johnson

Lenora Helen “Ellie” Johnson, age 72 and a resident of Coldspring, Texas, passed away Monday, September 23, 2013. She was born in Wharton, Texas on September 19, 1941 to parents Clarence and Agnes Munsch who preceded her in death along with her son Randy W. Hession; and her grandson Matthew Gadfield. Mrs. Johnson was a self-employed hair dresser for 40+ years. She was a member of Coldspring United Methodist Church and a volunteer at the Coldspring Library. She was dearly loved and will be great missed. Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 25, 2013, 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Chapel, Coldspring, Texas. Pastor David Green will preside over funeral services being held 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 26, 2013 at Coldspring United Methodist Church, Coldspring, Texas with interment at Oakwood Cemetery, Coldspring, Texas. Survivors include her loving husband Mike Johnson; sons Alan Hession, Tom Hession and Danixa, Michael Johnson; daughters Anita Kelley and husband Jerry, Jennifer Coward and Adam; brothers David Munsch and Jeanine, Verlin Munsch; sister Donna Johnson; grandchildren A.J. Hession, Zac and Tyler Hession, Scott and Jacob Hession, Tommy and Ashley Hession, Christopher Kocurek, Ledger Coward, Adrienne Kelley, Logan and Fayth Hardwick, and Mikayla Johnson; great-grandson Gracyn Ray Hession; nephews Drew Boring and Emily, Kent Boring and Stephanie, Clinton Johnson; nieces April Munsch and Wanda Munsch; numerous other family members and friends.
