Lavetra "Beedie" Burge

Lavetra “Beedie” Burge, 90, of Dayton, passed away in Webster, Texas on Friday, June 30, 2017.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm at Pace Stancil Funeral Home – Dayton. A funeral service will be at 12:00 pm on that day in the chapel of Pace Stancil. Burial will take place at 2:00 pm at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
Beedie (as she was known by her family and friends) was born on February 4. 1927 in Warren, Arkansas to parents; Willie Frank and Ida Belle Tiner. She was a resident of Dayton, Texas for 34 years. Beedie was people person. She loved all people and had a special love for her family and her church family. She loved cooking, baking and gardening. Beedie was a proud member of the Dayton Gardening Club for several years.
Mrs. Burge was preceded in death by her parents: Willie Frank and Ida Belle Tiner, husband of 64 years: Richard Burge, brothers: Wayne and Bob Tiner, and sister; Louise Charles. She is survived by her children: Derrin Burge and his wife Sharon, Dorendia Hamilton and her husband Paul, Renee Baker and her husband Buddy, and Cathie Halbrook and her husband Ric, brother: Willie Tiner and his wife Valerie, sisters: Becky Carpenter and Dolly Jones, grandchildren: Clint Hamilton, Shaneon Hamilton, Meredith Hayes, Paul David Hamilton, Shelley Burge, Ricci Halbrook, Abby Burge, Ryan Halbrook and Steven White, great grandchildren: Josh Hamilton, Clint Hamilton, Heather Hamilton, Jacob Hayes, Nicki Hamilton, Emily Hamilton, Sydney Halbrook, Sophia Hamilton, Avery Valdez, Jonas Halbrook, Emery Booker, and Sullivan Halbrook, great-great grandchild: Brantley Hamilton. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
