Laura Jean Dickey Cabrera was born July 24, 1955 in San Antonio, Texas to parents, Clarence James Dickey and Rose Lee Stiefel Dickey. She passed away September 6, 2022 after a battle with lung cancer, at the age of 67. Laura was the Assistant Manager of the Woodside Manor/Capriet, a Volunteer and Member of the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo, and a Volunteer and Member of the Montgomery County Fair & Rodeo. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence James and Rose Lee Dickey; brothers, David Dickey and Clarence James Dickey III; stepson, James Cabrera; great grandson, Brantley James Martin. Laura is survived by her beloved husband, Johnny T Cabrera; sons, Henry “Buddy” Martin and wife Tammy, and Johnny Martin; daughter, Amanda Tallon and husband Christopher; stepson, John Cabrera and wife Kristen; sisters, Rachel Randall, Glenda Sieler and husband Les; grandchildren, Chelsey and husband James, Hannah and husband Daniel, Bradley and girlfriend Ryleigh, Rachelle and husband Mike, Lacey, Jordan, Blake, Easton, Breanna, Christin, James, John Michael; great grandchildren, Cash, Dylan, Kara-Leigh, J.T., Analise, Izabel, Harleigh, Everley, Barker; YaYa’s, Alice, Debbie and Sharon; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Service is scheduled for Friday, October 7, 2022 in the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel at 2pm. Interment will follow in the Pace-Stancil Memorial Rest Garden Cemetery.
