Larry Rollins Sr

Larry Rollins Sr. was born on September 26, 1957, in Houston, Texas, to Leslie Rollins Sr. and Luda Mae Bomer Rollins. He passed away on February 12, 2025, in Splendora, Texas, at the age of 67.

Larry was a skilled machinist in the oilfield industry and had a deep passion for working on and building automobiles. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing, and in his younger years, he loved riding motocross and playing softball. Larry was often found at the shooting range or practicing archery. He was fiercely protective of his loved ones and his possessions, and you better not mess with either.

Larry’s love for his family was immeasurable, and he cherished the memories made together. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Leslie Clinton Rollins Jr.; and his stepson, TJ Robinson. Larry is survived by his beloved wife of 18 years, Julie Rollins; his children, Larry “Cracker” Rollins Jr. and wife Angie, Leslie “Puddin” Lafollette and husband Bobby, Lucas “Lukey Dukey” Knight and wife Jane, Dakota Mae “Kota” Holt and husband Samuel, and Jennifer Robinson; his brother, L. Dwane Rollins; sisters, Linda Coile, Lilly Morrow, Lynn Barker, and Loretta Mitchell; his grandchildren, Jordan “Grasshopper,” Natalie, Cassidy, Boo, Kai, Ryan, Levi, Brodie, Jace, Kinsley, and Chance; and his great-grandson, Westley Rollins.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Cleveland, Texas.
