Larry Mack Keel

Larry Mack Keel born July 18, 1951 in Houston, Texas to parents Roy & Christine Keel was a beloved son, husband, Dad, Papa, uncle, & friend. He was surrounded by his loving family when God called him home on Friday, November 15, 2024 at the age of 73. 

Larry loved the outdoors and was never one to sit still very long. He enjoyed simple pleasures of life: watching westerns, listening to golden oldies & timeless country music, front porch swingin’, & horseback riding. 

Larry leaves behind his cherished wife of 44 years, Peggy Keel, and his 4 children Michael, Keith, Jaime, & Heather. He is also survived by his parents, Roy & Christine Keel and his brother, Rickey Keel. His legacy continues through his 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his grandson, Kendrick Owens. 

Larry will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. 

A graveside service will be held Friday, November 22nd at 11 am at Liberty Community Cemetery in Cameron, Texas located at 5017 FM 3242 Cameron, Texas 76520. Serving as pallbearers will be Tyler Rodriguez, Scotty DeSpain, Shaun Smith, Cody Smith, Joshua Grettenberg, and Justin Earhart.
