Larry “Joe†Lee, 73, of Hardin, died Sunday, March 2, 2014, at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 6, 2014, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Ryan Cemetery in Tarkington Prairie. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton. Joe was born February 28, 1941 in Romayor , to parents; Ike and Ellen Moulder Lee, a former resident of Baytown, and has resided in the Hardin area for the past 22 years. He was a graduate of the Hardin High School class of 1958, a retired turnaround planner for ExxonMobil of Baytown, and member of the Hardin Baptist Church. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, working cattle, and especially spending time with his family. Mr. Lee was preceded in death by his father: Ike Lee, mother: Ellen Moulder Lee, brother: Milton Lee, and sister: Donna Reeves. He is survived by his wife of 53 years: Billie R. Smith Lee of Hardin, daughters: Kristi Jones of Dayton and Cindy Barham of Baytown, brother: Ebb Lee and wife Patricia of Livingston, sisters: Cheryl West of Coldspring and Lori Lee of Dallas, sister-in-law: Anna Mae Lee of Leggett, grandchildren: Kelsey Jones, Kameron Jones, and Elizabeth Barham, great-granddaughter: Sadie Grace Jones, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
