She is preceded in death by her parents, James A. and Mary Ann Smith, and her sister, Kimberly Payne.

Kerri was cherished by her family and friends for her loving spirit and generous heart. She took great joy in the simple pleasures of life, often found watching her favorite show, "Yellowstone," engaging in crafts, and most importantly, spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. The love she had for her family was palpable, and she was a guiding light in their lives.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 34 years, Keith Wentworth. Kerri leaves behind two sons, James Smith and wife Jennifer, as well as Bradley Smith and wife Amanda. Her legacy continues with her grandchildren: Camryn and husband Mikey, Jordyn, Bryant, Landon, Brylen, Brooklyn, Tyler, Ryan, and Zachary, along with her great-grandchildren, Wyatt and Wrenley.

Kerri is also survived by her sister, Karen Moore and husband Roy, as well as her mother and father-in-law, Dan and Linda Wentworth. Her nieces and nephews, Nikole and husband Michael, Brittany, Hayden, Hunter, McKenzie, Nathan, and Kayden. Kerri also leaves behind a great-niece and nephew, Delilah and Connor.

Kerri will be remembered by her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Jolene and husband Marlin Dawkins and Randy and wife Bonnie Wentworth, whom will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.

Kerri’s visitation will be held on January 9, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home located at 1304 N Cleveland St, Dayton, TX 77535.
