Kenneth Allen Whitlow, a dedicated Deputy with the Harris County Sheriff Office for a span of 30 years, passed away on August 7, 2024, in Clear Lake. He was born on January 4, 1961, in Dallas, Texas. Kenneth's commitment to serving his community through law enforcement was evident throughout his illustrious career.
Kenneth attended Pasadena High School and later went on to join the Harris Sheriff Office, where he diligently and made a lasting impact on those around him. His colleagues regarded him as a steadfast and reliable individual who upheld the values of integrity and duty in all his endeavors.
In his personal life, Kenneth was a devoted family man with a warm and caring soul. He was surrounded by his loving family at the time of his passing, finding comfort in their presence.
A man of many talents and passions, Kenneth was a proud member of the Fraternal Order of Police. His love for the great outdoors led him to enjoy activities such as camping, fishing, and exploring on motorcycles. These moments amidst nature brought him immense joy and tranquility.
Kenneth will be dearly missed by his surviving family members, including his beloved wife, Dora Whitlow; his son, Kenny Whitlow, and daughter-in-law, LeAnne; his daughter, Michele Folse, and son-in-law, Mark; his cherished grandchildren, Jonah Wright, Kylan Whitlow, Adelyn Whitlow, Kameron Whitlow, Tyler Folse, and Leah Folse. In addition, he is survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a wide circle of friends, all of whom held a special place in his heart.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, Kelley Simmons Whitlow and Thelma Christine Welch; his step-mother, Delpha Whitlow; and his brother, Keith Whitlow. Their memories will forever be cherished by those who knew them.
Services to honor and celebrate the life of Kenneth Allen Whitlow will be held at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, located at 1304 N Cleveland St, Dayton, TX 77535. A visitation will take place on August 13, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a Funeral Service at 2:00 PM. Friends, family, and colleagues are invited to pay their respects and share in the memories of a remarkable man whose legacy will endure through the lives he touched.
In the quiet of his final rest, Kenneth leaves behind a legacy of dedication, love, and warmth that will forever resonate with those who had the privilege of knowing him. May his spirit find peace in the embrace of eternal serenity.
