Kenneth Lamor Strickland, age 56, of Flatonia, Texas, passed away Sunday, March 27, 2011. He was born January 3, 1955 in Atlanta, Georgia to parents, Frank Lamor and Lois Katherine Strickland who preceded him in death along with his son, Benjamin Lamor Strickland.
Survivors include his loving wife, Pam Strickland; daughters, Sarah Strickland and Katelyn Strickland; sisters, Diane Pemberton and husband, Cole, Brenda Mendola Barbara Squier, Louise Holder and husband, Charlie Kathy Dale Risner and husband, Richard; brother, Allen Strickland; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews who he loved so very much.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 30, 2011, Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 31, 2011, 2:30 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Chapel with interment following at Hold and Rise for Jesus Cemetery, New Waverly, Texas. Pallbearers include Ryan Holder, Dwayne Mendola, Tracey Pemberton, Christopher Squier, Stacey Pemberton, and Steven Squire; honorary pallbearers include Frankie Mendola, Casey Pemberton and Anthony Kisner.
