Keith "Scooter" Everett

On Thursday, June 8, 2017, Keith “Scooter” Everett, age 46 of Shepherd, Texas passed away. He was born January 14, 1971 in Cleveland, Texas to parents Arthur Everett and Ruth Everett Marshall. He is preceded in death by his father, Arthur Everett; grandparents, Lonzo William Everett, Nancy Elizabeth Everett, Elbert Enzor Pate, Mary Evelyn Pate; nephew, Ryan Everett West.

Keith grew up in Shepherd, Texas where he stayed for most of his life. He was a friend to anyone and everyone he met. You never caught him without a smile on his face, and he could make you laugh until you were ready to fall out of your chair. There wasn’t much he wasn’t good at. His favorite past times were fishing and hunting. However, none of that meant as much to him as spending time with his kids and family. He was a friend to the end with a great big heart, and definitely one of a kind. He will be greatly missed.

He leaves behind to celebrate his life his mother, Ruth Marshall; daughters, Stacie Hopkins and husband Leslie, Hailey Salazar and husband Jose, Rachel Everett and husband Rashad Johnson; son, Cameron Everett; grandchildren, Adrian Johnson and Isabella Salazar; sisters, Wendy Everett West and husband Wade and Mona Everett Windham and husband David; brother, Ronald Everett; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.

Memorial services will be held at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas.
