Kathy Sue Seals

Kathy Sue Seals, a beloved member of her community and dedicated family woman, passed away on August 26, 2024 in Liberty. Born on October 9, 1952, in Galena Park, Kathy was a radiant spirit whose life touched the hearts of many.

For years, Kathy served as a charter manager at Sam's Limousine and Transport, where she exemplified strong work ethics and a commitment to her team. Residing in Dayton since 1996, she cherished her roots, having grown up in Hardin and lived in Galena Park and Sheldon during different seasons of her life.

Kathy's passions extended beyond her career; she was deeply involved in her children's education, serving as a member of the PTA and acting as a team mom for several Little League teams. She was also a charter member of the South Lake Houston EMS and a devoted member of Gum Grove Baptist Church. Her generous spirit and vibrant personality left an indelible mark on those who knew her.

Known for her creativity, Kathy enjoyed floral design and took great joy in making baby blankets. However, her most cherished moments were centered around her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She relished every opportunity to spend time with them, creating lasting memories filled with love and warmth.

Kathy is survived by her husband of 56 years, Greg Seals, her daughter Derinda Hugaboon and her husband Jim, and daughter-in-law Tammi Seals. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Heather Maak and her husband Brooks, Cody Seals, Garrett Cramer-Cruz and his husband Julian Cramer-Cruz, Meagan Gagliano and her husband Drayton, Jarred Cramer, Crystal Tovar, and Dalton Black and his wife Heather. Further enriching her family tree are her great-grandchildren: Luke Maak, Logan Maak, Chasin Black, Justin Tovar, Jr., Wyatt Black, Gabriella Tovar, and Colby Black. Kathy also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.

She is preceded in death by her parents Eugene Wheeler and Christine Williams Wheeler, her son Gregory Scott Seals, II, and her siblings Linda Clowers and Danny Wheeler.

A visitation will be held on August 29, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, located at 1304 N Cleveland St, Dayton, TX 77535.
