Kathryn Farnham, age 89, of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Sunday, February 9, 2014. Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 11, 2014, at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 12, 2014, at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas, with Rev. Bobbie Maltis, Pastor of First United Methodist Church, presiding. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, February 13, 2014, Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park Cemetery, Colleyville, Texas. Honorary pallbearers include Dewayne Callicott, Paul Dellinger, Gary Stevenson, Dane Dellinger, Carmon Womack, Billy Mau, Joe Perkins, and Marc Hollander. Mrs. Farnham was born January 18, 1925, in Stanford, Texas, to parents, James Alvie and Laura Kay Helton Stevenson. She was a former resident of Ft. Worth, Texas, and has resided in Cleveland, Texas since 1989. She had a passion for cooking and loved sweets; a meal was not complete until dessert was served. She loved spending time with her family. Christmas with family was made tastier with her “Amish Cookies.†She will be greatly missed by all who loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jim Farnham; daughter, Sandy Hunt; brothers, Glen Stevenson, Fred Stevenson, and James Stevenson; sister, Vonaree Callicott; and son-in-law, Jackie Richardson. Survivors include her daughters, Barbara Richardson and Judy Perkins and husband, Joe; brother, Richard Louis Stevenson and wife, Billie; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren, four nephews, ten nieces; and many great friends and neighbors.
