June Sweeten

Melba June Sweeten, age 87 of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Monday, May 11, 2015. She was born January 29, 1928 in Carmona, Texas to parents William Everett Mills and Mae Raspberry who preceded her in death along with her husband, Mark F. Sweeten, Jr.; sons, Cecil Allen Robertson and Danny Mark Sweeten; brother, C.W. Mills; and sisters, Dinah Lathan and Billie Jean Bryant. Survivors include her daughters, Melba Casey, Wanda Fitzgerald, Barbara McDaniel, Alice Sweeten, Sandra Escobar, Lisa Wilson and Shiela Sweeten; sons, Tommy Lathan and James Everett Sweeten; grandchildren, Kevin Robertson, Kimberly Jackson, Cecil Allen Robertson, Jr., James Casey, Jr., Jeff Casey, Michael Herring, Matthew Herring, Brian Lathan, Karen Williams, Melissa Lilley, Garrett McDaniel and Emily Wilson; great-grandchildren, Tiffany Robertson, Kevin Allen Robertson II, Kyle Robertson, Kayleigh Robertson, Randi Beaty, Johnny Atkinson, Jr., Kyrstie Jackson, Ashlee Casey, Madison Busik, Danson Busik, Lauren Casey, Pamela Casey, Blake Casey, Owen Herring and Caleb Herring; numerous other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Brother Carl Williamson will preside over funeral services held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 14, 2015 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas.
