Judy Darlene Nichols, age 69 of Shepherd, Texas, passed away Friday, September 20, 2019. She was born January 8, 1950 in Pasadena, Texas to parents John and Edna Anderson. She is preceded in death by her father, John Anderson; husband, Glenn Nichols; sister, Linda Phillips; and brother, Bobby Anderson.
Judy was a daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She worked for many years as the only female wrecker driver in Pasadena, Texas. She owned and operated Allen's Towing & Wrecker Service. Her family was very important to her, and her children and grandchildren were the light of her life. She loved to sing and dance, and oh did she love Elvis Presley. She enjoyed watching Nascar, and Jeff Gordon was her favorite. She enjoyed taking trips to Galveston, Kemah, and most of all Las Vegas. She would do anything for anyone, and family didn't have to be blood related to be considered family in Judy's eyes, she welcomed any and all into her home.
Survivors include her mother, Edna Anderson; daughters, Shawna Elliott & Staci Mikulenka; sons, Christopher Haynes & Terry Haynes; grandchildren, Kandace Dobbs, Konner Mikulenka, Kaydence Elliott, Rylan Roberts, Brayden Elliott, Kyle Haynes, Brandon Haynes, Cameron Haynes & Kayte Wilson; great-grandson, Sebastian Haynes; along with numerous extended family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 11, 2019 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas.
