Judy Ann Swindle passed away peacefully in her home with her family by her side on August 12, 2018 at the age of 64. She was born on January 15, 1954 in Baytown Texas where she attended Robert E. Lee High School. Judy truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures, spending time with family and friends and caring for those around her. She was a true caregiver. Judy had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. She had a smile and a laugh that would light up a room. Judy married her soul mate David Swindle on March 3, 2008. Their love for one another brought together two separate families to make them one.
Judy is survived by her beloved husband of 11 years David Swindle; children, Deena Ritchie and husband Robby, Elizabeth San Miguel and wife Melissa, Heather Love and husband Daniel, Melanie Swindle and partner Shannon Siek, and Christy Swindle; grandchildren, Justin Harris and wife Jennifer, Brittney Stokes and husband Casey, Cassy Fontenot and husband Chase, Trey Odom, Jason Swindle, Joni Revia and husband Brandon, Cory Siek, Kelly Jo Love, Hannah Love, Clayton King and Courtney King; great-grandchildren, Edi Lou Harris, Clay Stokes, Toby Anderson, Noah Revia, Paislee Revia, Carter Fontenot, and one on the way; sisters, Deborah Neal, Wanda Ellis, Susan Fullbright, also numerous other relatives and friends.
Judy was preceded in death by her grandparents Clyde and Edith Kibodeaux, parents Clifford Harris and Doris Beal, brother Robert Harris, granddaughter Amie Taylor, great grandson Collin Fontenot and daughter Brandi Swindle.
Judy will be remembered as a bright and shining star that will forever be watching over us.
Judy’s family will receive friends on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, 1304 North Cleveland St, Dayton, TX 77535. Viewing for friends will be from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM and services will be 1:00 PM with interment service immediately following at Magnolia Park Cemetery.
In honor of their mother and grandmother, Deena Ritchie, Elizabeth San Miguel, Robby Ritchie, Justin Harris, Clayton King and Casey Stokes will be serving as pallbearers.
