Judith A. “Judy” Carter Morris, 76, of Dayton, passed away Monday, March 28, 2016, at the Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 2, 2016, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Magnolia Park Cemetery in Dayton. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., Saturday, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.
Judy was born August 9, 1939 in Houston, to parents; Arthur and Viola Herring Carter , a former resident of Pasadena, and has resided in Dayton for the past 21 years. She was a homemaker, member of the Order of Eastern Star, and First United Methodist Church. She also enjoyed travel, gardening, playing cards, fishing, and especially spending time with her grandchildren.
Mrs. Morris was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 56 years: Collins E. Morris, Jr., and great-grandson: Collin Fontenot. She is survived by her daughters: Susan Garcia and husband Ray of Dayton, Sharron Bullion and husband Edgar of Trinity, and Julie Reagan and husband Kevin of Conroe, 14 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
