Joyce Vern Elliott

Joyce Vern Elliott 83 years of age and a resident of The Woodlands, Texas, passed away Sunday, May 26, 2013 at her home. She was born January 02, 1930 in Houston, Texas to parents Alvin H. and Nannie Bell Phillips Richardson who preceded her in death along with husband Dewey Elliott; sister Nora Faye Tomac; and her brother Leolyn (Bud) Richardson. Survivors include her daughter Deborah Elliott; son Joel Elliott; brother Roger Richardson; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other cherished family members and treasured friends throughout the years. Bro. Earl Holman will preside over funeral services being held Wednesday, May 29, 2013, 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of The Woodlands, 11801 Grogan’s Mill Rd., The Woodlands, Texas, 77380. Visitation will be held prior to the service starting at 9:00 a.m. at the church. Interment will be held at Holly Grove Cemetery, Segno, Texas.
