Joyce Julaine Pruett, age 74 and a resident of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Sunday, October 12, 2014. She was born October 7, 1940 in Galena Park, Texas to parents Orpheus Anthony Emmons and Artie Eleanor Walker Emmons who preceded her in death along with her brother, Bertie (Sonny) Emmons; sisters, Viola (Kewpie) King, and Doris (Tootsie) Smith; and great-granddaughter, Chlioe Dagney Jordan.
Survivors include her husband Gearld Wayne Pruett; daughters, Melanie Darlene Pruett Carley (Darla) and husband Wayne, Melissa Renae Pruett Jordan (Lisa) and husband Robert, and Melynda Kathleen Pruett Graham (Mandy) and husband Leslie; sons, Gearld Wayne Pruett Jr. (Rusty) and wife Cathy; grandchildren, Duston Carley, David Jordan, Kassie Carley Bowen, Salina Jordan Amburn, Aaron Carley, Destiny Beeson Burton, Hunter Fitch, Layton Fitch, Devon Beeson, Braely Fitch, Drake Graham, Logan Wallingsford, and Drayton Graham; great-grandchildren, Nathaniel, Paige, Tristan, Emma, Jacob, Brooks, Wyatt, Nickie, Kirstan, Vanessa, Mallory, Johnathon, Michael, Chloe, and Rhys. Numerous other Relatives and Friends.
Brother Don Stephens, Brother Larry Glossip, Brother Gene Jones, Brother Carl Williamson, and Brother Gary Ladner will preside over funeral services held 10:00 a.m., Tuesday October 14, 2014 at Bear Creek Church, Cleveland, Texas. Interment will follow at Pruett Cemetery.
