Joyce Evelyn Lowe Guin, 79, of Dayton died Monday, July 16, 2012 at home. She was born March 6, 1933 in Nacogdoches, Texas to Eldon D. and Annie Lorine Parish Lowe. Mrs. Guin graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 1951 and had lived in Channelview before moving to Dayton 46 years ago. She was a member of the Baptist Church, enjoyed doing puzzles and crocheting.
Services for Mrs. Guin will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel in Dayton with interment to follow at Palms Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday evening at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home.
Mrs. Guin was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Joseph Walter Guin and sister, Zelma Segrest. She is survived by her sisters, Christine Hoffpauir of Dayton, and Velda Jannise of Harper, sister-in-law, Margaret Brothers, also other relatives and friends.
