Joyce Louise Keener Bingham, a retired accountant assistant known for her dedication and grace, passed away on February 23, 2024 in Fort Worth, Texas. She was born on July 26, 1938 in Ranger, Texas.
Joyce led a fulfilling life enriched with a variety of interests including reading, knitting, embroidering, sewing, and traveling. However, above all else, her devotion to family shone brightest.
Among her proudest accomplishments was being a valued member of the First Baptist Church in Dayton. Her unwavering faith and presence within the church community will be greatly missed by those who knew her. Joyce also worked as an accountant assistant at Wiggins and Smith Accounting in Liberty.
Joyce is survived by her loving children Ricky Lee Bingham and his wife Sandra and Timmy Lee Bingham; grandchildren Melissa Vargo and her husband Dennis, John DuBose III and Matthew Lee Bingham and his wife Cares; great-grandchildren Kaylee Vargo, Kenzie Vargo, Emily Vargo, Addison Vargo and Broden Vargo, Charles Broadley, Ellie Broadley, Dale Broadley; great-great-grandchild Jackson Harris; as well as brothers Tommy Keener and his wife Martha, Johnny Earl Keener and a sister Joann LeBlanc. Her memory will also be cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Honoring the family by serving as pallbearers will be Ricky Lee Bingham, Matthew Bingham and Blane Damek. Honorary pallbearers will be Broden Vargo, Timmy Lee Bingham, John DuBose and Dennis Vargo.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Oscar Lee Bingham, parents Claude Keener and Sue Boutwell Keener, a daughter Tina DuBose and a great-granddaughter Sydney Grace Vargo.
A visitation to honor Joyce's life will be held at the First Baptist Church in Dayton on March 11, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. followed by a service at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Randy Piatt officiating. Burial will follow at Magnolia Park Cemetery in Dayton.
Joyce Louise Keener Bingham will forever be remembered for her kindness, strength of character, and deep love for her family. May she rest in peace knowing that she touched the hearts of many during her time with us.
