Joyce A. Perkins Bolin, 82, of Dayton, passed away Monday, January 23, 2017, at the Heritage Villa Nursing Home in Dayton.
Visitation will be held from 11a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, at the funeral home. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 28, 2017, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with services concluding thereafter.
Joyce was born December 12, 1934 in Clover Port, Kentucky, to parents; Forrest and Ruby Weatherholt Perkins, and has been a lifelong resident of the Dayton area. She was a graduate of the Central High School, a retired book keeper, and member of the First Baptist Church of Dayton. She also enjoyed gardening, fishing, yardwork, her dogs, and will be remembered as a devoted Christian.
Mrs. Bolin was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Homer Leon Wilson, husband: Robert J. “Bob” Bolin, sisters: Jewel Ruth Perkins and Peggy Perkins Silvers, and granddaughter: Stacey Wilson. She is survived by her sons: Leon Wilson and wife Amanda of Dayton, Robert Bolin of Dayton, and Steven L. Wilson of Dayton, daughter: Peggy Anita Rowe and husband Jim of Nevada, brothers: Johnny Perkins of Arkansas and Wayne Perkins of Houston, grandchildren: Leon Wilson, II and wife Amber, Ashley Bolin, Yvonna Bolin, Josh Brown, Hannah Works and husband Alan, and Kary Cooper, great-grandchildren: Carson, Chase, Remington, Lexie, Mariah, and Laiyden, her special companions: Gizzie and Bit, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
