Joy Norris Vyoral, 66, of Dayton died Sunday, May 26, 2013 at home. She was born November 28, 1946 in Houston, Texas to parents Mishael E. Norris and Mona Evelyn Jones and was a graduate of Humble High School in 1965. Joy has lived in Dayton for the past 37 years, was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters, and the St. Joseph Parish Council. She also was a member of the Crosby and Dayton Quilt Guilds, the Humble Fiction Café and was a published author. Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Vyoral will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church with interment following at Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening with the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Dayton. Joy is survived by her husband: Edward C. Vyoral of Dayton; her parents: Mishael and Evelyn Norris of Humble; her son: Mike Vyoral and wife Wendy of Dayton; her daughter: Mishaelle Vyoral of Dayton; grandchildren: Haden Vyoral and wife Halee, Nacole Clark and husband Ricky, James Clark; great-grandchildren: Layden Perry, and Brooke Vyoral; brother: Robert “Buddy†Norris and wife Bobbi of Magnolia; nephews: Justin Tessandori and wife Tomomi and Austin Norris and wife Amanda; numerous other relatives and friends.
