Joseph Thibodeaux

Joseph Thibodeaux, 81, of Dayton, passed away Sunday, October 15, 2017 in Baytown.  He was born October 5, 1936 in Basille, Louisiana to his late parents, Abram Thibodeaux and Frances Young Thibodeaux.

Mr. Thibodeaux had lived in the Dayton area most of his life and was a retired painter from the Port of Houston.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Louis Thibodeaux; grandchild, Cody Deville; great-grandchild, Harlee Dowdy and sisters, Barbara Dietz and Dorothy Hebert.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Ruth Thibodeaux; children, Julie Vestal and her husband, Johnny, Vickie Bentley, Carol Nowak and her husband, Wayne and Chris Thibodeaux and his wife, Becky; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Winnie Tatum and her husband, Bill and Pat Olsen and her husband, Trent and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, October 28, 2017 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.
