Joseph "Joe" Daniel Wallace

Joseph “Joe” Daniel Wallace, age 72 and a resident of Splendora, Texas, passed away Wednesday, October 09, 2013. He was born in Cushing, Texas on May 25, 1941 to parents, Elizie and Mattie Wallace who preceded him in death along with his sister, Bertha Jean Barnhart; and brother, Burtis Wallace. Survivors include his step-sons, David Dowdell and wife Brenda, James Dowdell and wife Donna; brother, J.T. Wallace and wife Mildred; sister, Mildred Strawther and husband Leo; nephews, Johnnie Barnhart and wife Meryl, LeRoy Wallace, Jessie Wallace, and Billy Joe Wallace; nieces, Elizabeth Shankles and husband Sonny, Dianna Young and husband Jimmy; numerous other cherished family members and treasured friends throughout the years. Visitation will be held at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas, Wednesday, October 16th and Thursday, October 17th, 2013 at 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., Friday, October 18, 2013, 5:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 19, 2013 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel, Cleveland, Texas with interment following at Peebles Cemetery, Goodrich, Texas.
