Joseph "Ebb" Elbert Williamson

Joseph Elbert “Ebb” Williamson, age 76 of New Caney, Texas, passed away Saturday, August 31, 2019. He was born November 9, 1942 in Houston, Texas to parents William Franklin and Bertie Williamson who preceded him in death along with his siblings, Mozelle Willis, Lloyd Jabo Williamson, Vera Carter, Everett Williamson (Twin Brother), and Gladys Mize.

Mr. Williamson graduated from Splendora High School in 1962. Ebb worked in the A/C and Refrigeration field for over 40 years. Ebb was the Chief Engineer over the maintenance for Harris County. He retired from Six Flags Astro World.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy “Dot” Williamson; daughters, Stacey Williamson Olivo and husband Sam, Mindy May Stripling and husband Warren; sons, Thomas Elbert Williamson and wife Karen, Barry May and wife Leslie; sisters, Pearl Oliver, Gaynell Metts, and Faye Kirkland; brother, Ralph Williamson; grandchildren, Jessica Stripling Hatton and husband Travis, Heather Hoffart Birkenfeld and husband Chris, Hunter May and fiancé Christina, Toby Stripling and wife Jane, Trevor May, Garrett Williamson, Rylei Williamson and Dillon Dowdell, Ryan Hoffart, Samuel Olivo, Lerra Olivo, and Leyna Olivo; great-grandchildren, Jordan, Christopher, Colt, Case, Brooke, Laney, Jewel, Cami, and Luke; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and loved ones.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon, Thursday, September 5, 2019 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas with services beginning at 12:00 noon. Interment will follow at Plum Grove Cemetery.
