Jorge Ybarra Uvalle, 66, of Dayton, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2018 at his home. He was born January 21, 1951 in Weslaco, Texas to his late parents, Gregorio E. Villarreal and Mary Ybarra Villarreal.
Jorge had lived in Dayton for the last 9 years, was a retired construction foreman and loved fishing, gardening and having a cold one on his front porch.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jorge Uvalle, Jr. and sisters, Cristina Robles and Esther V. Martinez.
Survivors include his wife, Claudia Nash-Hogg; children, Jessica Uvalle, Rebecca Uvalle, Joni Uvalle, Johanna Uvalle, Jenne Uvalle and a step-son, Abram Gutierrez; grandchildren, Brandan Hall, Brian Hall, Brittany Hall, Alyssa Rivera, Anthony Garza, Alexander Arroyo, Ariel Uvalle, Jessica Sandoval, Elena Chapa, Maria Moreno, Anthony Bell, Brianka Oliveira, Catelynn Uvalle, Ava Thomas and Cordie Thomas; great-grandchildren, Brandi Hall, Jayden Hall, Ethan Hall, Railee Rodriguez and Miguel Jorge Jones Garza; brothers and sisters, Francis Thrash and her husband, Larry, Elvira Hart and her husband, Stanley, Mary Jane Villarreal and Marshall Villarreal and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m., Friday, January 12, 2018 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.
