Johnny Mitchell Sides

Johnny Mitchell Sides, age 64 of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Friday, April 10, 2015. He was born April 20, 1950 in Big Spring, Texas to parents Bedford Forrest Sides and Peggy Jean Walker Sides Graham who preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Janet Lea Younger Sides; daughters, Kristi Lea Sides and Kierstin Lea Sides; sons, Sean Michael Sides and Dylan Mitchell Sides; cousins, Derek Robertson and family, Mitchell Kyle Hunt and family, and John Edenfield; numerous other relatives and friends. Mr. Sides was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp. He served in the Reconnaissance Division during the Vietnam era 1968-1969. He retired from Exxon Mobil and was a member of the Magnolia Baptist Church. He was a champion bowler that loved to fish, hunt, cook, race motorcycles and most of all his grandchildren Dylan and Kierstin. Toby Clements will preside over memorial services held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, April 19, 2015 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas.
