Johnny Wayne "Carpet" Fowler

Johnny Wayne “Carpet” Fowler was born May 18, 1961 in Dallas, Texas. He passed away tragically on February 8, 2025 in Shepherd, Texas at the age of 63. He worked for many years as a carpet installer and he loved repairing bicycles and lawn mowers. Johnny Wayne loved his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by everyone that knew and loved him. 

He was preceded in death by his brother, Andy Gerard; sister, Patricia Louise Adkins. Johnny Wayne is survived by his beloved parents, Patricia Kay and Jesse Sallas; brother, Randy Jo Gerard; sister, Doneita Garza; nephews, Austin Wayne Gerard, Joe Bargas, and Kasey Bragas; nieces, Bailey Johnson, Gloria Bargas, and Sarah Pineau.

A Memorial Service is scheduled for Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 11am at the Family Restaurant, 2700 S. Byrd Ave. Shepherd, Texas 77371. All arrangements handled under the trusted care of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home.
