John Wilson Mcwhorter

John Wilson McWhorter, age 95, of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Saturday, December 22, 2012. He was born in Huffman, Texas on June 25, 1917 to parents, John Thomas and Eliza Bell McWhorter who preceded him in death along with his son, James McWhorter; five brothers and one sister. Survivors include his loving wife of 59yrs Gladys McWhorter; son, Richard and wife, Diane McWhorter, Bert and wife, Marion McWhorter, Kenneth McWhorter, Ronald and wife, Cindy McWhorter, John and wife, Janice McWhorter; daughters, Ruby Propes and husband, Orville, Treca Lytle; Numerous grandchildren and great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family members and friends. Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 26, 2012, 5:00-8:00 p.m., at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas, funeral services being held Thursday, 11:00 a.m., December 27, 2012 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas with interment following at Ryan Cemetery, Cleveland, Texas.
